Miyama is a great place for cycling. Although it is surrounded by mountains, roads in Miyama are mostly smooth with moderate slopes.
There are a few steep hills here to worry about.

Please make sure you read through the rental bicycle agreement on the official website before your booking.
Bike rentals may stop immediately if severe weather (strong winds, lightning, etc.) is forecasted in Nantan City.
No cancellation fee will be charged for same-day cancellations due to rain or other inclement weather. However, please make sure to contact us at least 30 minutes before your reserved time.
Contact us if you’re over 30 minutes late. Reservations will be automatically canceled after 60 minutes, and a 100% cancellation fee will be charged.
E-bike is a "drop" handlebar type. Your height must be 155cm or taller. No kid bike available.
Mountain bike saddles are higher than regular bikes. Wear comfortable clothes and avoid skirts, wide pants, or heels.
We may refuse rentals if your clothing is unsafe for cycling.
Bikes have no baskets. Use a backpack or similar bag.
Free luggage storage is available at the Kyoto Tamba Kogen Visitor Center.
Cancellation Policy
A cancellation fee of 100% if booking is cancelled 9 hours or less before the event.
