You will dye the pure silk white fabric used for kimonos with your own hands.
This is a special Kyoto Yuzen dyeing experience that can only be enjoyed in a craftsman's workshop.

In this workshop, you will have the opportunity to experience "shigoki-zome," a dyeing technique unique to factories that handle the final stages of Kyo-Yuzen dyeing.
Unlike typical dyeing experiences, you will use 100% silk white fabric, the same material used for actual kimonos, and experience the authentic dyeing process under the guidance of skilled craftsmen.
Course A: Full Experience
This course allows you to experience the entire dyeing process, using the 100cm-long, pure white silk Kimono fabric, cut out from the bolt. You can select the pattern, and the color for the fabric to be dyed, and experience to apply the paste onto the fabric, to observe steaming process, then to wash with water to finish your own work.
