(For Foreign Residents of Kyoto Prefecture Only) We’re Recruiting Creators: Share the Best of Kyoto with the World!

When you research for a trip, have you ever found yourself thinking, “I want to know about more local, hidden Kyoto spots, without the crowds!”?
We’re launching the Another Kyoto Foreign Resident Creator Outreach Project to share new, deep dive discoveries of some of Kyoto’s best with the world! We’re looking for foreign creators to experience Kyoto Prefecture’s little known but incredible scenery, culture, and local cuisine. These creators will use their native language and unique perspective to introduce the best of Kyoto Prefecture’s hidden gems to the world on blogs and social media.
You won’t just be snapping some Instagram-worthy shots, though – you’ll be carefully writing an introduction on what moved you, how to get there, and all the other details that will help serve as a guide to future travellers. Bring your writing skills and language ability, and help us promote sightseeing in Kyoto!

(2)Fieldwork in Kyoto Prefecture: You head out to the location to actually experience it! (Transportation fees will be covered!)
(3)Write & Publish Your Posts in Your Native Language: You’ll carefully craft content in your native language, and publish it to your social media or blog after our office has checked and approved it.
(4)Share Your Data: After posting, you’ll share data on the posts with our office after a predetermined amount of time has passed.
Work Schedule
September 2026 – February 2027 (*Creators will be expected to work continuously throughout each month)
Compensation & Benefits
(1)Payment per Post: 5,000 yen will be paid per post.
(2)Transportation Fees: Transportation fees required for fieldwork will be reimbursed according to the amount actually spent.
