Boasting a size that's the largest in the Kinki region, Hiyoshi Dam was the first dam opened in Japan to enable visitors to see the interior of a dam body. The dam lake has an area of 2.74 square kilometers, a height of 67.4 meters, a width of 438 meters, and a capacity of 66,000,000 cubic meters. The facilities open to visitors include an information gallery and a visitor center.
