More Than Just Fruit: Making Memories at Hanayagi Strawberry Farm

Let’s enjoy strawberry picking at Hanayagi Strawberry Farm! Stepping into their spacious greenhouse, I was enveloped in a sweet aroma that felt like a dream—even before my first bite! It was also wonderful to see families with little ones; the farm is stroller-friendly. I was so excited! There’s nothing like wandering through rows of fresh strawberries! Finding a big, ruby-red berry is like a little shot of happiness. I couldn’t help but shout, “Found one!” Each bite was a perfect burst of sweet and tart flavors—I was grinning from ear to ear the whole time!

Tip: Chocolate syrup adds a new layer of deliciousness. It gives off Japanese Valentine’s vibes, too! (In Japan, Valentine’s Day is all about chocolate: exchanging chocolates with your besties, giving them to a crush, treating yourself to some luxury chocolate, and so on.)

There is a pretty photo spot here, so don’t forget to snap some pictures to take fun memories home with you!

Also, the town is packed with amazing places to eat. For example, check out Shukran, a wonderful Japanese restaurant! (The photos of this restaurant were taken on August 8, 2025.)

They’re Muslim-friendly, and you can enjoy your meal while looking out at their beautiful traditional garden. Moreover, they try to use local ingredients as much as possible, with a focus on what’s unique, delicious, and in season.
