Uesugi Strawberry Farm

Uesugi Farm, located in the Infused with Tea region of Kyoto in Yawata City, is a new strawberry picking farm opened in January 2021. It offers a 50 minute all-you-can-eat course which includes three types of strawberries; "Beni (red) Hoppe", "Akihime" and "Yotsuboshi". Condensed milk and chocolate sauce are sold, or bring your own toppings and enjoy the endless combinations of flavors.
The strawberries are grown in raised beds inside ten large green houses; making it is easy for the whole family to pick strawberries. They also offer priority lanes so wheelchairs and strollers are no problem.
In addition to jams, sauces, gelato, and okaki (Japanese rice cracker), the farm store sells four types of strawberries, "Akihime," "Yotsuboshi," "Beni (red) Hoppe," and "Oi C Berry," which you can take home.

Strawberry House British Garden Yawata Farm

"Strawberry House British Garden Yawata Farm" in Yawata City is a strawberry picking farm that keeps people coming back with their delicious strawberries. Visitors can enjoy 40 minutes of all-you-can-eat "Akihime" strawberries which are characterized by sweetness and lack of sourness. Grown on raised hygienic shelves with wide aisles, the strawberries are easy to pick without having to stoop down and accessible by wheelchairs and strollers. The strawberries can be purchased at the nearby store, "Shikisaikan," to take home as well while supplies last.
The farm is also close to other tourist spots in Yawata City such as Nagarebashi (Kozuya Bridge); making it a great place to visit as part of a sightseeing.
