At the Kameoka Headquarters of the religious institution Omoto, there are maple and gingko trees carefully maintained, which becomes a secret beauty spot for autumn leaves. The Tamba Kameyama Castle built by Akechi Mitsuhide, was demolished according to the ordinance for abolishing castles. However, a part of the stone walls has been restored by Oomoto, which allows visitors to recall the bygone days.
