Itohkyuemon Uji Main Store

Itohkyuemon was founded in 1832. Their tea, processed with meticulous attention to quality, has been favored by many renowned temples and shrines. The main store is located on the right bank of the Uji River. They offer a variety of Uji teas, as well as sweets made with Uji matcha green tea, including amazing tiramisu, which make wonderful gifts. At the cafe space, you can savor matcha noodles, delicious desserts using matcha, such as parfaits and anmitsu (a bowl of sweets made with red beans and other Japanese ingredients), and more. Their seasonal parfaits capture the essence of Japan's beautiful seasons, offering a delightful and fulfilling experience.
