Deep Kyoto 1 Day Countryside Cycling

This tour takes you on a bicycle tour with a local guide through the countryside where villages, mountains and rice fields are next to each other.
Before and/or after the tour, you can stay at farmhouses and enjoy the local food. Visit the site where the food is grown and taste it to your heart.

Kyoto Miyama Satoyama Stay 3-day Plan
In this tour, you’ll find one of Japanese cultural heritage and their sustainable way of life. Thatched village is composed of 39 old thatched houses in which people still live today. The Oni Trail Highlight Short
The Oni Trail follows ancient lore and oni (demon/ogre) legends across a 100km-long trail with a variety of routes that stretches across northern Kyoto prefecture all the way to the Sea of Japan. It traverses ancient pilgrimage routes, mountain paths, forest trails, village streets, castle towns, and a UNESCO Global Geopark. Park hiking, part walking; explore slowly on foot, get to know Japan, and help the planet at the same time.
The Highlight Short version is a half version of the Oni Trail from day1 to day 4, an adventure travel on your feet walking about 44 kilometers of the Miyazu Kaido route from Ooeyama to Amanohashidate.

After enjoying cycling along the Japn seaside, we were finally ready to head into the mountains. Our destination is central Kyoto. Which is the ancient capital of Japan with its elegant traditional culture.
